R&D Process Engineer

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in physical chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • Experience with hands-on experimental work in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience in working under a vacuum or inert atmosphere.
  • Good communication and ability to work alone or in a team in constantly changing conditions.
  • Highly organized and meticulous in experimental result documentation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in physical chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • Conducting experiments and working with versatile equipment and experimental systems.
  • Presenting results to the process team and recommending courses of action.
  • Solving process-related challenges and choosing different system components for demanding working conditions.
  • Supporting the engineering team in designing reactors.
  • Preparing samples for analysis in various methods: XRD, XRF, ICP

 

Mechanical Engineer – Lunar and Iron application

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or higher in mechanical engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in designing chambers or systems in chemical corrosive environment or working in a vacuum environment – must
  • Hands-on experience work in metal design in Solidworks (preferably stainless steel) and manufacturing processes such as CNC, sheet metal, welding – must
  • Experience in designing transportation methods for liquids, aerosols and gas – advantage.
  • A maker experience with power tools, FDM and SLA printing and other self-fabrication techniques – advantage
  • Highly motivated, team player, with good communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Designing experimental systems and chambers for High vacuum and chemical environment from requirements to a working system.
  • Solving process-related challenges and choosing different system components for demanding working conditions.
  • Managing the thermal requirements of the systems by mindful design and thermal simulations.
  • Using in-house workshop, various 3d printing techniques and more to allow rapid prototyping.
  • Taking ownership of the equipment in the workshop in terms of operating, maintaining and purchasing.
